Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read this.
I've just bought the above camera off an eBay seller. Maybe that was my first error, but I'm new to this. Please do not hesitate to tell me if I've bought what is generally considered junk!
However, I am NOT new to networking and wireless, so have a pretty good handle on that side of things. I have a D-Link wireless router.
I seem to have an intermittent issue. My first attempt to connect the camera wirelessly, with all the routers filters and encryption turned off seems to work. I then feed in a MAC address filter - and all seems good, and then set up the WEP. This is when things stop working, and even if I turn the MAC address filter and the WEP off again (on both camera and router) I still can't get the camera to work wirelessly. It's almost as if once the camera has lost connection, no matter what I do, it won't connect again. Wired, the camera works fine.
I've checked and rechecked everything, and can't see any reason why the setup should not work.
I've done all sorts of stuff to try and sort this:
Upgraded the router firmware
Checked the camera firmaware is up to date
Checked and rechecked WEP key and MAC Filters
Started from scratch with no security at all.
Reset both router and camera and started again
Contacted Foscam support and am awaiting a reply
Do any of you have cameras similar to this? Have any of you had any issues similar to this?

Hey Mate, you have to be careful about where you buy your camera, you should check on the OFFICIAL foscam website for authorized sellers, not one ending with a stange extension like .us or something. LK Town usually has a good selection of Foscam cameras in stock, for good prices.
I bought a f18905w and it worked ok wirelessly but I used wpa security.
after a few days i couldn't connect wirelessly nor would it scan and find any networks i'm trying to get an rma from the vendor but....
